Kadesh's Vocabulary:

'Sossoling' - sling shot
'humple' - an insect bite - a cross between a hump and a pimple, I think!
'skaterrolls' - roller skates
'stuffies' - fluff (we think this will be remedied by having a cow named Fluff, but she's already been called Stuffy!)
'avamacado' - avacado
'puffets' - puppets
'vegemarmite' - the generic term for the black paste New Zealanders put on their toast - it comes in two varieties: vegemite and marmite.

Meet Fluff - an 11 year old jersey cow that will produce a calf later this year and after that... lots of milk! The girls love her already. She belongs to us and Peter and Helen.

Wedding Drums

We had a different kind of experience today. Sam and I were asked to be witnesses at a wedding - rather last minute and very informal! Dan and Diane were passing through NZ and had decided to marry here. You can click on the link to their blog at the right to get the rest of the story.
